コーヒーのちょっとした歴史
こんにちは;D
今日はコーヒーの歴史を少し共有してみようと思います。
みなさんコーヒー飲んでますよね。
全てのものに歴史があるように、もちろんコーヒーにも歴史があります。
さてさて、少し見てみましょうか。
物語の始まりは、紀元前のアフリカ大陸、現在のエチオピアです。
ちなみにエチオピア…どこにあるか分かりますか？
緑の部分ですね
昔から紅海を通じてアラビアとの交易が盛んだった場所でもあります。
さてこのエチオピアに一人の山羊飼いの少年がいました。
彼の名前はKALDI
そう、日本ではカルディコーヒーファームでおなじみのKALDIくんです
そう言えば、カルディのショッピング袋にはヤギがプリントされていますよね:)
このKALDIくん、ある日ヤギを連れていたところ
ヤギが何かしらのベリーみたいな、ナッツみたいなものを食べているのを見たんですね
特にその時は気にもとめなかったようですが
その夜、KALDIくんがヤギを寝かせようとすると
なんとヤギは寝ないではないですか！
それより、なんだか興奮しているではないですか！夜なのに！
おっかしいなあと思ったKALDIくん
思い当たったのはヤギが食べていたベリー的なもの
後日、彼は修道院を訪ねます。
そこには、なんと趣味で木の実からジュースを作る修道院長がいたんですね（偶然にも）
さて、修道院長がその木の実からジュースを作ってみると…
黒い飲み物ができるではないですか！
飲んでみると、その修道院長もその夜はなかなか眠れなかったみたいですね。
これは、夜もぶっ通しで行われる宗教の儀式にはもってこいじゃないか！
と思ったらしく、そこからこの飲み物を皆に広めるわけです。
そう、その飲み物は今日のテーマの、コーヒーですね。
これがコーヒーの起源と言われています（諸説ありますが…）

Everyhing has a history of course, and so does coffee.
But how many of you know the history of Coffee?
Then, Let's find out it together :D
The history goes back to B.C. in Ethiopia.

There was a boy called Kaldi who was the goat herder.
One day, he found his goats ate certain berry from a tree.
Then they became so energetic, and couldn't sleep at night.
Kaldi was so suspicious about this incident, so he reported this to the abbot of the local monastery who could make a juice with the berries.
He found this drink kept him awake through the long hours of evening prayer, and he started to tell this incident to others.
This is the origin of coffee, of course there is many opinion about this.
